I had full custody of my daughter for 3 years in Florida. The mother and mother’s family lives in the Washington state. I was always nice and let them visit my daughter in Florida. But I let my daughter go with the grandmother for a vacation up to Washington and they decided to keep ( kidnap ) my daughter. I begged them for a year to return my daughter. I then hired a lawyer in Florida and paid a lot of money to the Florida lawyer to try to get my daughter back. But then the case went to Washington and I needed an attorney there and Mr. Shane was highly recommended. So I hired Charlie and he did an amazing job! He has very fair prices and he works very hard and is very experienced and talented. During our 8 hour evidentiary hearing, Charlie lays out the facts and also caught the mothers side in a lot of lies. The outcome was that Mr Shane GOT ME FULL AND SOLE PERMANENT CUSTODY OF MY DAUGHTER!!!! I was so happy I cried! And guess what else Charlie got me........? He also got all my attorneys paid for by the other party! So not only did Mr. Charlie Shane get me my daughter back. But He got all my legal fees paid for!!!! Charlie hit a grand slam and my daughter wouldn’t be sitting next to me right now in Florida if it wasn’t for Charlie and how hard work. We hired Charlie to represent our daughter in a very contentious divorce case. Charlie came recommended to us by an attorney friend who previously had interactions with him as opposing counsel. Throughout this entire ordeal, our daughter's Ex has been very spiteful & vindictive, unwilling to agree or compromise on terms and conditions, and if he did agree, he would then later change his mind. At mediation, an initial agreement had been reached, however, at the last moment, the opposing party pushed for additional conditions that were not acceptable or, in the best interest of the young children. The case was drawn out and eventually forced to trial, due to lack of reason, truthfulness and cooperation by Ex. Bottom line, Charlie hit a home run. Our daughter was awarded what was initially agreed upon at mediation plus more. In addition, the Ex was required to pay a substantial portion of her attorney fees.
